Fidelity to the Word
Our Lord and His Holy Apostles at the Last Supper

A blog dedicated to Christ Jesus our Lord and His True Presence in the Holy Mystery of the Eucharist

The Lord Jesus, the same night in which He was betrayed, took bread, and giving thanks, broke, and said: Take ye and eat, this is My Body which shall be delivered for you; this do for the commemoration of Me. In like manner also the chalice.

Be fruitful in good works

Behold how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell in unity. Like the precious ointment on the head, that ran down upon the beard, the beard of Aaron, Which ran down to the skirt of his garment: As the dew of Hermon, which descendeth upon mount Sion. For there the Lord hath commandeth blessing, and life for evermore.
Psalm 132

Act of Consecration

Our Father who art in heaven...

Hail, Mary, Full of Grace, ...

Glory be to the Father... (7 Times)

Abide in Rebecca's soul,
blessed Spirit of the Father and the Son.
Immortal Giver of Life and Comforter of the afflicted,
heal her whom the doctors could not cure,
and bless her with comfort and peace
from now until the day of judgment.

O Treasury of Goodness and Lover of Mankind,
fill the heart of Thy handmaid Rebecca with Thy charity,
grant her joy and peace and patience,
make her kind and good,
bless her with longanimity and mildness
and unwavering faithfulness,
let her be ever modest, continent and chaste,
Thy true daughter,
a star among the stars of heaven,
shining with the glory she has received from Thee,
a mirror of Thy holiness,
fruitful in good works.

Through Christ our Lord
Who reigns with Thee
in the Glory of God the Father
through all the ages of ages. Amen.

I watched World of Apu today, one of the thoughtful movies you showed in your film class. What a sad, difficult world we live in, but not without its moments of grace. Thank you Rebecca, I never would have watched this film without you.

The tragic events of Apu's life made him a better person. A very true depiction of the way God teaches us, I think. May God help us to bear and benefit from all the many lessons He has for us.
