Fidelity to the Word
Our Lord and His Holy Apostles at the Last Supper

A blog dedicated to Christ Jesus our Lord and His True Presence in the Holy Mystery of the Eucharist

The Lord Jesus, the same night in which He was betrayed, took bread, and giving thanks, broke, and said: Take ye and eat, this is My Body which shall be delivered for you; this do for the commemoration of Me. In like manner also the chalice.

Leah's tears

I was happy to hear that you were able to go to Mass at the Cathedral last Sunday with your family.  Leah told me that Katie brought you up to receive Holy Communion, and when you stood up to receive, she cried, seeing the effort you made to receive Jesus.  She tried to hide her tears from you, but they were not bad tears, they were holy tears, a gift from God.  Leah said she was touched by "your witness".  Your effort inspired her, and she moved a little closer to God.

That is why we are here in this world, to help each other in various ways to draw closer to God, and He blessed you both that day.  Even the little troubles of this world can be blessings.   God blesses you and loves you and so do I.

That Sunday was Rebecca's last Sunday in this world. A beautiful day. Thank you Lord. Thank you, Rebecca.
