Ash Wednesday
May God help us to do penance, and
to accept the cross that He has given us;
may we resolve always to do what is right
and remember that the pains of this world are transitory.

Dear Lord, if we stray, turn our thoughts back to You. Through Thy grace, may we be truly repentant, and more faithful to Thee in the future. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
